Install PubSat on Linux

Download the Publication Satellite TAR file from here.

The TAR contains two files, psat_configure.sh and psat.tar. To install the PubSat run the configure script: sh psat_configure.sh.

The script will ask for an installation directory and whether the PubSat should start automatically when the machine starts. These options are shown in the image below.

When the installation is complete the IP and port that it is bound to will show (above). The IP and port are defined in the pubsat.ini file, which will now be on disk in the directory chosen during the install process. This INI file also includes example aliases. Aliases determine where reports should be published.
